Estonian Food Has a New Website
As a result of a public procurement conducted in summer 2015, Newton and PR Strategies were tasked by the Estonian Ministry of Agriculture to create a new website for Estonian food.
The primary keyword for the new website was appetite communication – we had a goal to create a site where the most significant story-telling would be done by large pictures of fresh delicious Estonian food throughout the four seasons. The website received a beautiful blue-black-and-white logo which depicts the Estonian food campaign slogan “I love Estonian Food”.
PR Strategies took care of the interesting content of the site. We compiled texts which introduce the main Estonian ingredients, describe how food is grown in farms and produced in factories, and invite readers to taste Estonian food in local restaurants and cafés. Also, we gave the floor to the biggest fans of Estonian food – chefs, entrepreneurs, politicians and other well-known Estonians according to whom fresh Estonian food is an irreplaceable asset.
Visitors of the Estonian Food website will find a calendar of events that are taking place during the Estonian Food Month organized in Estonia for the first time. Also the site lists restaurants who are serving certain delicious gourmet meals made of an Estonian products in the framework of the Estonian Food Month.
The website will also feature a choice of recipes – both advice from Estonian chefs on how to prepare modern Estonian cuisine dishes and snacks as well as recipes of traditional dishes that have covered Estonian tables for centuries.
Enjoy the website and bon appetite!www.eestitoit.ee
