PR Strategies team earned praise at the Estonian Food Industry Association event

PR Strategies team organized Estonian Best Food Product contest media relations for the third year in a row and every year we have offered something new to the competition and attractive for the media.

This year in addition to the chefs, merchandisers, media representatives and audience jury, we also proposed to engage a jury of young talents who chose their favorite product – Vana Tallinn Ice Cream liquor. The final evaluating commission selected the Estonian Best Food Product 2015, which was Valio Gefilus cappuccino-kefir, and of course PR Strategies is very happy for its client.

“Organizing a PR campaign for a food competition has been a very inspiring challenge – each year we have to find a new and fresh approach and new exciting initiations, so that journalists wouldn’t get bored of the topic and the contest with its winner badges could gain even more popularity. But it’s not a secret, that food is the big passion for all of us and the products participating in the competition are super delicious and exciting enough to keep the creativity going,” says Helena Peterson, project manager of Estonian Best Food Product.

During the discussions at the conference Sirje Potisepp, the Head of Estonian Food Industry Association and the representatives of the food industry highlighted the good work of communication that always accompanies the contest and thanks to what Estonian food and the best new products have always stayed visible. This year the contest that began in February together with the Food Industry Association conference gained over 200 publications.
